Come learn about living arthropods (insects and spiders) in a controlled environment where you can safely observe and document the behaviors of these fascinating animals up-close! We will talk about and look at a variety of insect species while discussing their role in the ecosystem. Your troop will also learn about:
- Identifying the basic parts of insect
- Recognizing different insects in our area
- Endangered plants and animals and what is being done to protect them
