Boy & Girl Scout Workshops

The Scout programs do a wonderful job of teaching children about citizenship, responsibility, and their role in preserving our ecosystem. Seattle Bug Safari’s Boy & Girl Scout Workshops helps your troop carry those lessons one-step further!

Come learn about living arthropods (insects and spiders) in a controlled environment where you can safely observe and document the behaviors of these fascinating animals up-close! We will talk about and look at a variety of insect species while discussing their role in the ecosystem. Your troop will also learn about:

  • Identifying the basic parts of insect
  • Recognizing different insects in our area
  • Endangered plants and animals and what is being done to protect them

Bring your troop ready to observe and learn all about the fascinating creatures at Seattle Bug Safari!
